Default Can I use 02 wrx harness on 95 EJ20

Have 95 sti ej20 can i use a harness from 02 wrx would it fit and would it work right with a stock wrx ecu ?????

NO...

your 95 is OBDI and an 02 is OBDII...

not even close.

No way. Or at least not without a lot (and I mean really a lot) of effort and modified or custom parts.

Its a piece of hardware, anything is possible. Yeah its not bolt up and go but it doesn't mean its hard

I'm running a phase 1 motor with a phase 2 harness and ecu.

You need to modify the one timing cam gear, put a WRX crank gear on the crank.

Run the STI intake manifold (what i did) and make a plate to allow the WRX throttle body's on board IACV to work.

You also have to make a bracket to hold the throttle cable in the right area. and block off the old IACV hole.

As far as engine management goes that's a personal preference.

And before i get flamed, I'm not saying its the best but it worked for me on a budget for a race car.

Phase 1&2 is alot different than obd I&II

Don't do what iamianoliver said... Get a turbo legacy wire harness(or the right one)
