Getting the $500 coupon for more accessories, picking up a roof rack and potentially the rear roof spoiler. Not sure how I get the actual coupon though, tried calling Subaru Corporate but they're closed until Tuesday (Jan. 3rd) I got the "choose your gift" email back when I first ordered, just don't know how I get it now.

Need to find out how much it costs to add the spoiler, wish I had just chosen the option when I ordered it.

about to trade in wife's '08 outback sport for a new 2.0i premium 5-door with CVT. has all the same stuff but 16" wheels. ill give her the stock wheels from my outback and put taller tires on. i wanted her to wait for the '13 xv but she can't wait. then i can put new wheels on my outback.

Picked this up on December 28th. Awaiting delivery of the DCG-Upgraded Speakers, Powered Sub-woofer, License Plate Brackets, and Continental DWS replacement tires. Overall initial impressions are 1) Sweet!!! and 2) Gas mileage is lower than expected (City ~21/Interstate ~33); however, that could be because of the winter gas formula and the fact that it only had 8 miles on it when I picked it up. Some complain that the Stereo system is not up to par; however, to my ears, it sounds much better than that in my 2008 OBS that I traded for this vehicle.

Can you put up a picture of the Roof Spoiler? Going to put one on mine but haven't seen one on an actual car other then the stock images..

I'm seeing about 29 miles per gallon average with some city and highway mixed after about 500 miles of driving.

Lower then I expected, was only getting 30 - 33 highway - hard to tell what might be dropping that. Could have been the drive up 91 and 89 through Vermont which is pretty hilly, the weather which caused me to have the heat blasting most of the time, or the fact that I'm just getting used to driving it. Acceleration is much different then my 2000 civic with the VTech so I'm sure I'm causing lower gas mileage as well.

Rdizzle - I'm seeing some condensation in the headlights as well.

There's also a noticeable delay in changing gears from Reverse to Drive (CVT), anyone else seeing this? I'd say it takes a full 3 - 4 seconds to switch to Drive.

I bought the Limited w/o upgrading to Nav/GPS - Sound system is lacking. I expected to put in new speakers at some point anyway so it's not a huge concern to me but I do feel like it should sound better stock.

I'm going to have Subaru look at the transmission when I bring it in for the first oil change.

In case anyone else is wondering. If you Pre-ordered before the end of October and you selected the $500 in accessories you need to get them at the dealership you purchased the car from. A little difficult for me since I bought it in Connecticut and live in Vermont, not a big deal just need to figure out a weekend trip to visit family.

I called Subaru and got the coupon code from them so that I'll be all set when I get down there.

The mileage is not what I expected but I read elsewhere to expect a mileage boost after break in period is over. Doesn't make much sense to me but I'm stuck with it now so I guess I'll find out either way. Right now If I take it easy and abuse the Cruise control I get approx 26-28 mpg. I tried driving normal (normal to me is fairly aggressive ie: 70-80 hwy, quick starts and passing slow drivers on hwy. "aggressive" relative to a 148hp hatchback with no balls lol) and this got me a crappy 21-22 mpg. I expected better but it is what it is. I'm still happy with buying it. Anyone else get this kind of experience with theirs? Also, anyone notice that the air intake seems blocked by the front grille? Doesn't seem to have any holes for air to get through grille straight into intake like I would expect any other car to have. Anyone find the fuel filter yet? LOL. gotta love new cars and their "easter eggs".

I've got 1000 miles on my Limited now, and the mileage has crept up from 29 to over 30. I've noticed that my mileage suffers a lot when the engine is cold, as the CVT doesnt shift as early or lock up the torque converter until the engine temp is fully warm, in addition to the engine being inefficient because it's cold. Ive found that if you can take easy on the acceleration and RPMs until the engine is warmed up and transmission starts to shift earlier, you can get much better overall mileage. I know this may not be a big observation, but it seems even more important with this engine/transmission due to how much RPM Subaru allows to get higher torques.

Mine is taking about 2.5 to 3 sec to shift to drive, but reverse engages within a sec. If you take yours in before I do, let us know what they say. Seems like it could be a common issue, and it really shouldn't take that long.

Finished my 3rd tank of gas and calc'd 25.32 mpg. I abused cruise control and kept high rpm accel's at minimum. I forgot how many miles i have so far but i know i am close to 1k. I think its around 700 something. Granted I cruised at about 65-70. That might be what killed the mpg.

Is anyone else unhappy with their 2012 imprezas heating system. Does not seem to have much coming out the under dash vents. Not very hot either.
It seems that by now all auto companies should be able to build really good heating and cooling systems for all cars. I noticed that once in a while the heated seats do not get very hot,just warm.

2012 Sport Premium 5 speed in Black/grey. So far, I have about 400 miles and avg 29 mpg. Took it to a trip to Monterey from Oakland, mostly freeway cruising under 70...I believe I may be getting over 29 mpg. Adding my trip + miles till fill up.....it looks like 500 total miles....but not sure. Very nice car so far...
