Default data logging with the 4EAT

I have an 04 WRX with the 4EAT. GrimmSpeed uppipe, Moore performance Downpipe with high flow cat, Borla XR-1 cat back, Cobb SF intake, Cobb ap stage 2 93 octane map. I just would like like to know the best way to data log with the auto tranny.... Trying to do a 3rd gear pull at WOT, the car would downshift. Soooo should I use 2nd gear?

2nd gear is fine for 4EAT.

I have a lockout feature I have on my 4EAT installed by AndrewTech that keeps it in 3rd...pretty neat.
