hey soo i finally got a version 1 AP because im running stage 2 but not tuned. I attempted to install the AP and while it was initializing for the first time/loading the map it said communication error (i think due to me nudging the connection)...it stopped at 45% and said error. now my car wont start. also when i plug the green tester pins in and turn ignition to "on", the check engine light stays solid and does not flash as it did before nor do the fans come on. PLEASE HELP, my car is parked in front of my friends house in Lake Elsinore and Im from orange county and its my daily driver so any quick help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Did you reload the map? If it stopped at 45% it won't work. You have to complete the process. That is, if you didn't fry the ecu

Unfortunately, the AP v1 is quite old and does not have any ECU recovery process (as the AP v2 does). Of course, if you interrupt the flashing process, there is always the possibility of causing the ECU to be non-functional, which can happen with any flashing device/software, regardless of the company. The only thing to try at this point would be to disconnect the neg. terminal of the battery for a few minutes, reconnect, and then try to flash again. If that doesn't work, you can give us a call - we may be able to recover your ECU (a service we offer). The 05+ STi has immobilizer, so if you buy an ECU (rather than recovering your current one), you'll have to get it re-programmed for the immobilizer by the dealer.
