Why do you want to do that for? If you want to go for a swap, then I'd say go for the JDM Sti motor. Is your motor blown? Do you have a regular 2.5RS? Do you want more power?(02 is still the same 227 hp that the 04-05 has, so that wouldn't be worth it) Need more info as to why you want to do a swap.

Vague questions net vague responses. List your car, your budget, your car's intended new use, your reasoning behind a swap.....alll critical things, otherwise some asshat like me will recommend a Chevy 350 crate motor.

^You beat me to it. I was going to say LS1 swap. Cheap and reliable power.

I bought the car with the engine having a couple of problems so I thought swapping the motor would of been better.

if you don't know what the problems are, what makes you think an engine swap will be any easier/cheaper/efficient?

if you don't have a basic understanding of the car, put the wrenches down and consult a professional.
