I am glad you actually followed through with this. I get so tired reading so many threads of people grand builds that never come to pass. Nice work.

God, why would you bump a thread that's 2 years old just to... ooooohhh.

Looking good, man. Love the finished product.

Don't really understand your "sentence" above.

Before you act like the internet badass read what I responded too. And it is completely possible to do the swap in 100 hours and less then 2k. And only true idiots sit on the computer to troll Subaru forums.

I can accomplish many a things on a Subaru for 1/3-1/10th the price of what most ****wits pay...but changing the side that the driver sits is not one of them. Not to mention if you **** it up, you **** IT UP bad. Like "part out your car because something went wrong when it came to messing with the firewall and now the whole firewall is totally ****ed which renders the chassis ruined unless you can get it fixed professionally out of your own pocket because insurance will tell you to pound sand and your dealership will you laugh at your warranty claim" bad.

It never ceases to amaze the dumb, pointless **** people do their car.

What's the appeal? You're still driving around a USDM car!

Agreed.

Granted a RHD conversion in this case is primarily aesthetic and probably wouldn't fit in with the majority of people's lives here, but I don't see any reason here to go bashing the guy and saying he's an idiot for having done it.

This is a GREAT project if you live in the US Virgin Islands, where US-spec cars are required by Federal law but idiotic local regulations require driving on the left-hand side of the road.

That's just annoying and asinine... OP's in Canada, hence why I called it primarily aesthetic. Point taken, though! It could be practical somewhere!
