Default 08 JDM vs. USDM Six Speed Transmission Swap

I'm in the process of having a 08 STI shipped to the states from Japan. I will be using the transmission, drivetrain, and RHD components from the JDM car in my USDM car.

I'm curious as to the transmission, in regards to how difficult it will be to mate the JDM six speed to my Cosworth built EJ257 engine.

Does anybody know about this swap or know of a person who has run into this swap?
