o forgot to mention the 2 im holding in the pic...the bigger black one goes to the rear one and the other was the one hanging around and the first one was the one on my header

Pretty sure there should only be just the two. No loss of mind going on here.

should only be one O2 on a EJ20G...

my 95-96 EJ20G had it in the up pipe... i relocated it to the down pipe when i put a twin scroll header on it.

hmmm interesting well today i bought new O2 sensors and they were for the rs and i talked to my buddy bout it and he couldn't remember what he did just remembers following the diagram...so im guessing the rs was intergrated into it which is great for me cuz there half the cost of the wrx ones so win for me its 188 bux for one 02 for a wrx and it was 169 for both of them on the rs

Mine has only one I can find in the headers, but there was also this dinky looking (likely EGT) one on the stock JDM DP. Is that second O2 that goes to the DP something that should have a modern O2 on it like the one in the headers or should it only need or be using the one in the headers?

That dinky one is the egt and i have an aftermarket dp so my other 02 is behind it and the before cat is in the header also the after cat one is a wideband
