Default Rpm spike

Hey just installed my AP Stage 2. When I only had my catback on(no AP) my clutch was slipping a little in 4th every once in awhile now with stage 2 it's slipping in 3rd-5th whenever I give it any decent bit of throttle, but accelerating normally doesn't slip at all in any gear. Is this normal with going stage 2 if my clutch was already slipping a little? Sorry I'm a noob, just tryin to figure this out. Thanks

Yes, it's time for a new clutch Any time torque output is increased, like when you went to Stage2, the load on the clutch is increased. If it was already on the edge, adding any more power will just hasten its failure. Get a new clutch put it and go enjoy your new power!!

Cheers

Lance

On the 2008 wrx's the clutch is on somewhat of a "recall." What you need to do is take it to a nearby subaru dealership and tell them your problem. Then claim it on Subaru and say its a defect, therefore Subaru will pay half of the bill.

How do I kno this? I've been through this problem already.
