Default Check Engine with low fuel?

On my last two tanks of gas I've gotten a Check Engine with the tank at 1/4 from empty and about 200 miles on the tank. I was sitting on the start line of an Auto-x the first time and it caused me some worry, but I checked everything over and ran anyway. That time the low fuel light came on too and the gas gage was fluctuating from dead empty to 1/4. Last Friday morning the CE came on again, 1/4 tank and 208 miles. I called two dealers, but they were too "busy" to check it out. I found that Autozone will do a free CE check on their computer to at least tell you what the code was. On the way there, I stopped for gas and the light went away. Both times took between 9-9.5 gallons to fill. I l know about the loose cas cap deal and checked it first. Anybody else have this happen?
