Default Going WTA from FMIC.

I've got a highly modified 2011 STi w/ meth injection using Cobb.

Going to be ditching my FMIC for a WTA. If all goes as planned, I should be going from ~4 Feet of intake plumbing to about 6 inches.

I imagine for optimal performance, I'll need to get it retuned yet again, but will the car be able to compensate for the changes I've made after the MAF?

Primarily you might have to look at boost control. Also some tunes mess with tip-in enrichment to try to combat the rich dip seen with FMIC that you would not have with a TMIC. As long as the intake remains the same as what the map was tuned for, you should not have an issue with fueling otherwise.

Meth is really risky mate. One miss-spray and there goes ur motor.

water/meth? with a 60/40 mix?

You will absolutely need a tune with that much tubing gone, your gonna have quite a bit less lag so the fueling will need to be adjusted
