Yahoo Japan auction won now I just have to be patient for them to arrive by sea freight boo...MY10 WRX STI A-line front seats with airbags and custom rails to suit a SH...should be a lot more comfortable and somewhat better at holding me in LOL

You should try to get the A line transmission too, then wrench the hell out if it until it fits in there. That would be pretty badass to see.

All kidding aside, nice seats.

funny you should mention that....The MY11 WRX STI 5AT slushbox I purchased from Rising Sun Subaru is sitting at STechnics now waiting to go in. It will need a short drive shaft which will get sourced. Its a longer box but I believe it will clear with my x-force dump. Its the same gearbox that Subaru Australia have used on the Forester S Edition.

I'm getting a new transmission too, because ours just failed on us. It only had 31k miles on it. Courtesy of SOA because it was still under warranty. But we picked it up at 28k certified preowned, so who knows how it was treated before we bought it.

Wish we could get the S-Edition here. Id like to get the MY12 rims for mine. I also wouldn't mind having that trans set-up either, but we get screwed over here.

Well I bought the following last week:

2009 STI LONG RATIO SIX SPEED DCCD Box
Shifter/Gearboot and Knob
Modified Tail shaft and Matching Rear Diff
Plus Starter Motor and Clutch Fork

It does not come with a controller for the DCCD so I have purchased the DCCDPro controller on the advice of my mechanic. He showed me this system in one of his clients cars last year. Does a much better job than the stock controller he tells me...should be fun times. http://dccdpro.com/zcart/index.php?main ... ducts_id=2

I have a number of mods planned to go on at the same time as the box upgrade...these include new BBK-M TD05-18G turbo, Process West CAI, Perrin Intake Pipe, new BOV plumbed back, some Cusco bracing for the steering rack and rear.

Once all of this is done then clearly it will be time to get the car on the dyno and re-tune.

The update is I am waiting for the 6MT Linkage, Gearbox Mount, Shifter knob and gaitor plus starter to arrive in the mail. The 6MT DCCD box, drive shaft and HD clutch arrived at my mechanic yesterday. I am also waiting on the BBK-M Turbo to arrive from the USA sometime next week. I have a stack of other parts sitting at home waiting to go including a Process West CAI, Perrin Intake Pipe, TurboSmart Kompact Plumb back BOV, colder spark plugs, some Cusco suspension parts, an sti instrument cluster and a few other bits and pieces.
My STI front seats arrived in Melbourne this week and should be making there way to me in Perth right now.
I am hoping to have the gearbox conversion completed by March 2nd with a bit of luck.

The update to the Foz is all parts purchased and collected for the 6MT DCCD gearbox transplant. I had to source a Clutch Plate Assembly and Brake Assembly plus master and slave cylinders to suit. I managed to pick up the lot from JWS in Wangara (big thanks John). I have a HD clutch and flywheel, and rear diff to go with along with a number of other parts but mostly importantly a genuine Subaru 6MT shift knob and boot.
At the same time the new BBK-M Turbo (TD05-18G) will go in along with a Perrin Inlet Pipe, Process West CAI, Turbosmart Kompact Plumback BOV. To top it off I hoping to get my new STI Front Seats installed and some Cusco bracing as well. Please dont bother or distract Doug and Damo at STechic next week LOL
Following week it will be off to ASG for more tuning and I am hoping 210 kw + atw

I'm in the wrong business. Damn sir, its like Christmas daily for you.

If your aiming for 280hp(210kw), how much torque do you plan on getting?
