I can't wait 'til this thread is completely useless. If you know what I mean.

But another thanks to Mike for the information about SoA and upcoming shipments.

What's the average lease payment on a base WRX? I want to know before I even walk into a dealer.

They have a lease special right now, 299/month for 42 months with $2k down. Not really a good deal, you end paying $14.5k. Usually a decent lease means paying right around 50% (or less) of the cars price over 36 months. If they would lover that payment to around $260, then that would be an OK lease.

theEZV, are those lease deals only available on 2012 models? Because no one around me has 2012 WRXs.

By the way thank you for that simple equation. Will definitely help during my search.

I am sure the lease will keep going once the 2013's start being delivered as well. They are charging too much, especially for a car that has great resale value like the WRX does. For example, Honda lets you lease an Accord for 250/month for 36 months with 0 down. You end up paying only $9k on a $21k car. I know you can't really compare an Accord with a WRX, but you get the idea.
If you wanna lease something "sporty", VW has a decent lease on the 2012 GTI.

And dont forget, you can negotiate lease terms as well.

Your hatch looked SEEEEEEXY sitting in my shop. BEEP!

Hope the experience at my store went well. Sorry I wasn't there for the pick up, we were at the MWSOC drag race getting caught in a tornado.

PM me if you ever need anything!!!

With Subaru at least, you are not going to be able to negotiate lower lease terms from the advertised specials. They are spec'd out below invoice, and are already set up at the lowest tier of money factor possible (best credit score).

Subaru's leases are not good, as you said. There is a lengthy reason that I am too lazy to type out right now, but the rationale doesn't matter anyhow. Always better to buy then lease a Subaru in my personal opinion. Especially because of the resale value.

Dealers are charging prices for used 2011 wrx/sti that I can order you a new 2013 for...lol.

The fist allocation of 2013s are due to arrive early October. I doubt your dealer actually ordered a 12 unless they had one on the way already.

Dealership called me and took down exactly what I want for a WRX. They said the order opens up on Aug 15th and cars will be coming in around 6-10 weeks. Pretty excited. He said as it gets closer, I will have to put $500 down to hold the car, but just ordered a base Satin White Pearl WRX Hatch. pretty ecstatic.

Need to start parting out the current car and sell the car and parts
