Ha ha... I was thinking I should have cleaned off my coffee table before taking the pics! Oh well, you can see my natural environment as it usually exists, games and magazines strewn everywhere

I only see one, the PS2.

Nice call on the slightly less superior to the Xbox but no doubt superior to everything else GameCube.

One of your purple guy's cousins will be living with me soon. There is a rally game that will be a GC exclusive coming out early next year.

May I make a suggestion? My boss bought the Wavebird, and it is very very nice. That should prolly be the next purchase you make, as the controller cords are only about 6 feet, as opposed to the 9.3 foot XB.

There's a fourth hidden under those magazines somewhere, and a total of five or six game controllers for various consoles too

And thanks for the comment VSM. How'd you know I have a PS2 too? Or maybe you were referring to my Dreamcast, or my Genesis... or Sega CD... or Jaguar...

Yeah, thanks, I'm all over a WaveBird in the next day or two, as soon as I get Super Smash Bros (only have Pikmin at the mo, so I don't need a second controller). Kay Bee has them for $30 online, so I'm going to try to get their store to match that price. If so, I'll probably get one today on my lunch break.

They were giving away hundreds of them at E3. I should have tried to get one!

I saw the "Wipeout Fusion" for PS2 game in the bottom pic, and a black PS2 controller in the top-right corner of the top pic, and I just deduced from that, but that is just me.

I was referring to VSM and his "obsolete console" remark

Woo Hoo!

Just in time for Nintendo's onslaught of uber-sequels!

I'll tell you what, there are just too many damn games coming out this month for my multi console having self to handle. I want at least 1 or 2 games for each of the big three, and even a couple of GBA games.

You also forgot Race of Champions: Rally Fusion, Panzer Dragoon Orta, Resident Evil 0, and Metroid Prime.

With the exception of the first, those are all renters for me (unless I can get review copies ). When I saw and played Panzer it looked incredible, but it seemed fairly linear, the kind of thing I probably wouldn't have a compelling desire to go back through again. Metriod looked pretty good, too, but nothing spectacular. I can see myself beating Metriod then going right back to playing Halo online

Yeah, it's really bad. The first time I saw it I got excited and told my girlfriend to watch... then I realized how annoying the commercial was and felt stupid

Yeah, the commercial sucks, but you know the game is going to be fun. That in combination with all the other damn games coming out makes me think I may have to get one of those new Blockbuster game rental cards.

IIRC it's something like $20 for a months worth of unlimited rentals. That might be a good way to weed through all of these new games so I only end up having to buy the ones I REALLY like versus the ones I'm just simply caught up in the hype for.

Yep, $20, two games out at a time. It's a pretty good deal, providing your BlockBuster can keep anything in stock. It's kinda hit-or-miss at times, though. You have to be quick and get there on the first day or two when the games are released. I'm on my second month doing the $20 thing, and I'd say it's worked out pretty well.

Actually, I bought my GameCube at BlockBuster last night because they gave me a free month's pass. Saved me $20

For rental help, refer to an earlier post:

http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...hreadid=225545

I had one of these before, that is how I beat Halo, took me about $6.00. I have to find my card to possibly take advantage of Lunch's offer.
