Default Windshield replacement.

Hey all,

Does anyone have any recommendations for a good, quality windshield replacement shop in MD or Northern VA? I don't want to use Safelite or any of those "big" companies as they use aftermarket and many people say the quality of their windshield is questionable (wavy, distorted, fitment, etc). I'm looking to get Subaru OE glass..

Last time I had mine done, I got it done at Champion Auto Glass
http://championautoglass.net/

They gave choice of Glass Manufacturer. I got Pilkington glass which is the OE manufacturer for many brands. The cost was cheaper than Safelite and I got brand name glass.

These are the guys who did my last 2 replacements. Great service and the installs were perfect. They even took the time to show me what the last installer (SafeCrap) did wrong and the issues it caused which he was able to fix.

Banner Glass. I used them to replace the OEM glass on my Forester Sports XT.

The only difference between say Pilkington glass and "Subaru OE" glass is a Subaru sticker.

Subaru, themselves, don't make their own glass.

The only way you're going to get Subaru OE glass is if you order from Subaru. Even though the glass company is Fuyao and not Subaru.
