Question Rallispec

I am considering buying a 7-10 psi turbo package from Rallispec. Depending on boost, it gives 220-350 hp. Also includes ACT racing clutch kit and full 3" cat-back exhaust! Anybody have any experience with Rallispec, or advice?

had nothing but good experiences with them. everything they do is top notch. however, last time i checked they were selling the turbos as "installed only"...

it means that they are not mail ordering turbo kits yet... they like to install and fine tune before they put their name on it...

that means that they are not going to sell you the parts so you or another mechanic can put it on the car. I think they are doing that at this point so that they can get their kit refined to the point that if you buy their kit their will be zero fit or finish problems (which many other kits had issues with)

That's the kit I'm probably getting, but since they're only like 45 minutes away, they're installing it, too

But, it is possible for me to ship my car to them and have them install my turbo, right?

Hell, pay me $2000 and I'll pick it up for you and drive it there. How about that?

Here's an idea: CALL THEM! They won't bite--they're really nice guys and I bet they can answer your questions quickly and accurately.

As to their reputation, it's first rate.

Edit: I take that back... wait 'til Monday to call them. They're headed to a rally this weekend--probably towing down tomorrow.

i believe the stage 2 is around $7500. $4500 for their stage 1, which is also intercooled.

Yup, Froggert is right...Their 7-10 PSI kit is $7500 installed. That's a fair price considering their parts are top quality, they include EVERYTHING you need, the pipe are stainless, will customize for you without a hassle, and they make sure the car runs good before giving it back to you...If you can ever get down to their place, do it Nothing like poking through car parts heh...I nearly climbed inside their all-trac up on blocks They probably would have laughed at me...heh

Edit: Forgot something

Tsvi ~~ I was just up there and saw them working on your install. Looks freaking fantastic. Wish I had taken my camera so I could have taken a few pictures. Andy was working on the oil cooler installation. Still needs to be tuned and it looks like you might have an O2 sensor going bad. Turbo sits nice and high. Lots of room since the IC inlet pipe is directly connected to the IC. Andy made a heat shield over the exhaust housing on the turbo, too. Really, really a sweet looking installation and setup. All the stainless is lovely, IMO.

Shipping shouldn't be that much. I had a friend ship her car from Atlanta to Anaheim CA for around $435 total. It took around a whole week to get there though. Oh, that price I don't think included door-door service. The car was delivered from and to a special depot area, IIRC.
