Default STI Type RA for a 22B rep. Type R...?

Hey guys,

I've been offered a deal on a 22B replica which includes a trade for my V3 STI RA and NZ $8k. I'm finding it really hard to make a decision... I've owned the RA for 8 years and it my pride and joy, have spent ridiculous amount on it however I've always wanted a widebody coupe... Very hard! Was hoping to get some of your opinions on the deal.

My RA:

The 22B replica on offer which has genuine 22B parts, bumpers, side skirts, wing, guards Front & Rear, badged etc... off a crashed 22B in Japan (not that I'll fit the badges as its simply not a 22B). Its incomplete and needs an ECU, wiring (as its running AVCS V7 STI engine), front seats and a few little parts (injectors, turbo etc...)

as long as the 8k NZ covers everything you need to "finish" the coupe then i say go for it... if it doesn't pass. its not fun to pick up someones project just to come out of pocket to get it reliable.

Don't do it, the RA is too cool! Just make your current coupe a 22B replica.

Thanks for your feedback guys, appreciate it.

I decided not to go ahead with the trade due to the unknown / cost involved in getting the car home etc... Rather disappointed, but I think its for the best.

SDoBB I'm lucky enough to have one of each. I'm much rather do a trade / deal with the coupe, but sadly its no where near as tidy as the RA so not worth near as much.
