Default Cobb tune

So I'm about to buy the Cobb accessport. I cannot decide between the stage 1 or stage 2. The stage 2 has the new launch control is it really worth it, they are the same price but it stresses u need the Cobb intake. MY MODS .... spt cool air ,3" piping Turbo back ,twin loop bov , stock Turbo, act clutch and flywheel, 06 transmission, I m just asking what's best stage 1 or stage 2 and is it really accentual to have the Cobb intake they say u absolutely need. Thanx ...nor*cal

Hi there.

If you are purchasing a new AP (version 2), launch control is available on all the maps, whether they are stage 1 or stage 2. You would use a stage 1 map if you are basically stock (cat-back is acceptable). You would use a stage 2 map if you have an aftermarket downpipe. We have maps that support the stock and Cobb SF intakes. For some later models, we also have additional maps that allow you to run the AEM intake as well. The SPT intake is not compatible with any of our maps.
