^ Team Dynamics Pro Rally 1. The only problem was all the distributors said they were out of 5x100 and that I'd have to wait for the next shipment from the factory in england which wouldn't be till Jan-Feb (not helpful for winter wheels haha). The guys at Team Illuminata were nice enough to custom drill a set for me, and now I have them wrapped in Blizzak WS-70's.

If you look at the first post in this thread the OP has the same wheels, and on the same color car as you. I also have a picture on that page of my wheels dual drilled.

What's the deal with the Hankook iPikes? Lots of people seem to be running them.

I am putting on my Nokian Hakka RSI's this week. I am just going to mount them on my 06 Saab 9-2x stock rims.

You do have to look a little harder to find them, I got mine through Team Illuminata ( http://www.teamilluminata.com/Shop/T...amDynamics.htm ) But I also looked at them here http://www.rallylights.com/detail.aspx?ID=3826

I'm pretty sure most places use the same distributor in CA though, since they're made in England.

If you mount it properly using nuts and bolts any lip will do fine.

thanks. That is probably the exact setup I will get when i go the dedicated route. Hopefully til then some allseasons will do with tentative driving and the mild northwest winters.

Actually, I think it really depends on conditions. Two years ago, my Mach V V-limited front lip survived the entire winter's deep snow until my town ran out of salt and the roads turned into frozen doubletrack. The frozen ice between the tire tracks smashed against my lip for a few long blocks one cold day at the end of which my lip was in pieces. My lip was bolted on there really well. It just is in the perfect spot to smash into everything and the angle is such that it doesn't take much to bend a lip at the right angle to break it in some way. I live in Chicagoland.

It's the same with side steps on SUVs when SUVs go offroading for the first time. All of the trail experts say, "Take them off or rip them off. Your choice."

Stock suspension, rally armor classics, and some cheap wheels wrapped in michelin x-ices.

Times like these are when i wish i was good with a camera. This looked reeaaally awesome in person.
