Winter Mode FTW! It's funny how on the subaru forums everybody is excited for winter and snow, but forums solely based on RWD/FWD all dread the day the snow sticks to the road ways.

Just picked up the '11 wrx in September and found these 01-04 Legacy Outback wheels on craigslist, paired with a practically brand new set of General Altimax Arctic tires found on craigslist. Winter set on the cheap.
The gold in the pockets really looks good in the sunlight, this was after I put them on and It was really gloomy out.

VWeater: not sure if you took this into account, but the edges and base of snowboards and skiis don't respond kindly to salt, rocks and any debri coming from under the car. Being that the board is hanging down in the back and directly behind the rear bumper your going to have a lot of wet/salty stuff collecting back there. Just looking out for you cause I know how much this stuff can cost being an avid skiier/snowboarder myself.

New summer setup.

18x9.5 Rota G-Forces

Winter Setup
17x8 Konig Runaways with 235/45/17 Continental DWS

This is an older photo, the Subaru front lip is still on for the winter. Also, rocking WRX springs and struts all around.
