Used Impreza's in Calgary seem to be much higher than Van, and even down east too. What gives?
Link to Auto Trader Ad The car is in mint condition, and very well taken care of. Extras include tinted windows (5), 3M Stonguard protection, Quinn alarm with remote entry, and a very slick Alipne CD with speakers and crossovers. The picture shows a US model bumper, and sadly this is not the case. What do you think of this price? I'm attempting to rationlize this against a new '03 TS. ($22,000+freight+gst=$24,450)

A used MY00 2.5 RS with no 'options' (I mean, aftermarket alarms, bumpers, stereo, whatever) should for for anywhere between 19K-21K. I've seen some RS's in Montreal with less than 50K km in good condition with an alarm, tints, suspension mods, etc.. (nothing major) for around $22K.
It should be right around $20K. But I guess thats the same price as a NEW TS...whereas the RS wont have much of a warranty left. But, the RS looks much better and it'll have a bit more options. Plus, its sportier. Its not like any MY00 RS is gonna be in bad condition, so I'd just go for it! ![]() |

Yup, the link is broken. Try this instead New Link.
Be warned that the bumper shown in the picture is not on this car and is the subject of another thread.[GooseMan] Where can we find an affordable version 5 front end in Canada? Argh! [inpreza kid] your profile shows the same car that I am considering buying. Is yours a sedan or coupe? Any words of wisdom or things to look out for? [raptor] sedan or coupe? |

OK, that silver one in the ad (I know its not the pic) should NOT be close to $25k!!!
![]() Man, the car's MRSP NEW is $27!!! If anything, it should be at 21-22...no 25!! If youre looking to convert to the V5 front end, it should cost you a little over $1000 for everything, including installation/paint. |
