Default Cold start issues

My car won't start when it's parked in cold weather for long periods of time. I have a red top battery and just replaced the starter. I had my alternator, starter (the new one) and battery all tested and they were good. Also cleaned all the connections, grounds etc... I read that the inhibit switch or crank position sensor can have something to do with this but before throwing money at this problem I wanted to hear your guys opinions-evaluations. Thanks for the help

Also when it won't start there's a clicking coming from under the steering wheel and all my accessories work when it won't start

Did you pull your starter and have it bench tested? If you just had autozone put that machine on your battery, that just tests the current going to your starter. Its just a couple bolts, pull it out and have them test it before you throw money at anything else.

is the clicking for sure from under the steering wheel or is it maybe from under the hood? my buddy's 02 had a clicking sound but I'm pretty sure it was coming from the starter, but a clicking would make me think of a loose wire connection or something...?? Good luck finding out though!

Lol i own an e85 vehicle in Colorado with no possibility for block heaters. Cold start is just a part of life. The Accessport now has a cold start adjustment feature which is cool. If you're using gasoline then you either have massive problems with your tune, or there's something wrong with the injectors (not atomizing correctly).

Well, I replaced my alternator, because my battery wasn't holding a charge. But got that fixex. But then my starter took multiple turns to start, and when I first turned the key my starter would make a squealing noise, so I replaced it. Now it still won't start unless I turn the key and push in clutch at the exact same time. And when it Does start it kinda chugs for a sec than idles fine.. It's pretty annoying...
