Moving to the Denver Area!!!

Ladies and Gents,

I will be moving to the area next month and was wondering where we should set up?

Technology way is where work is located at and we were wondering where do we setup shop to live?

The Mrs. found apartments by Cherry Creek area and loves them. Where all do you suggest and any other advice.

Will be moving from the Houston area and cant wait to get out there....I know i ll be freezing my balls off, but we're from Chicago prior, so we just got to get back into the groove and unpack the sweaters and long coats.

i was just going to post the same thing...i just got the green light about a job in englewood, CO. since no one posted here, i figured I can add. long story short, I have no idea where I'll be staying. will look to rent something out or room to get settled in. i have an 06 evo mr and i've considered selling it and pickup something cheaper for weekend ski trips and commuting. i'm also from chicago, been here 25 years and i think its time to change things up a bit.

i previously owned an 05 wrx and i've been looking at 02-03's again. decisions decisions. for those familiar with the colorado area, any suggestions on where to move? i'll be working in englewood (470 and 25). plan on going skiing every weekend i can. i'm single, fairly young, and no attachments. throw some ideas, i've got 2 weeks till moving day rofl.

Awdpirates.net is the forum site that most of the denver guys use. I lived in the Cherry creek/glendale and just recently moved back to utah. Its a great area, close to downtown and a lot of cool places. The denver guys have a meet every wednesday.

Coolness... Where should I look to live? Going to be working in the tech area....will be visiting Denver next week on a apt hunting trip....

BTW...also will I need dedicated winter tire for the Denver area or can I run on all season?

You'll likely be fine on am all season if you don't go to the mountains, but if you plan on driving up you'll need them
