I don't think I've seen any other BRZ's owned by women on any of the boards yet. Congrats!

I've lived in Fairbanks my whole life and drove an MR2 for the three years previous to my current car.

It's a miracle any of our parents survived the times before 4WD!

My mom still drives her Envoy in RWD throughout the winter, even though it has 4WD-switching capability. The Silverado is RWD on crappy all-seasons and we drove that around a bit this past winter. It needs new tires, though. My Pathfinder was RWD and I drove that longer than any of my Subarus ever (since the RS was down most of the time I owned it).

Yeah as long as you don't cheap out on tires you're golden, of coarse having experience with the conditions helps. "No, if your tires are spinning, giving it more gas WILL NOT MAKE YOU GO FASTER."

^^ I didn't say it couldn't be done, just saying' a long nasty winter with variable conditions is bearing down on us. An AWD vehicle on studded tires= If I had a 2wd sports car…..I'd be like Mavrik, put her to sleep for the winter.

How I drive in the winter and how my mom drives in the winter.

Lets just say the last time my mom rode in the car with me she said I got my bad habbits from my dad

But I've made it through winters with a FWD cavalier and sunfire without studded tires, or winter tires for that matter. I'm just not going to drive my new car in the winter and let someone hit it.

LOL! Mav, I agree 99.9%!

Your car is white. It would die in an Alaskan winter.

Don't care much for the blue shade those rims have but give me a set of bronze or gunmetal and I'm good to go.

Like I mentioned in another thread. Bronze looks hot on Pearl White!

Change the color and that would be awesome! Great with current color.

Well its official. Not that most care about it here since many will not use that car for its sporting potential.

I assume you are referring to the BRZ classification ruling but could you specify what you are bringing to our attention. That is quite a long passage.

Yep.
Most were running in this class on the local level in the states, but now that it is official it can be officially ran on the National Tour level
