I like the look of the BRZ but if I'm gunna go two door, I reckon I'd go Nissan or Infinity (likely infinity). From what I gathered from the video I watched the STi version is more of a prestige edition than a super speed version. Comes with nicer bells and/or whistles.

You'll pay for those "bells and/or whistles" too.

It is a nice car, no doubt. A cool concept that I am glad to see come to fruition. I hope that it kicks major ass all over the place and that the technology continues to trickle around to the other Subaru products.
Personally, I would NEVER consider this car for a snow state. Why give up AWD to get a lighter weight 2wd boxer? I'd much rather have my WRX or an STI in any place that it would ever snow. Then again, I wouldn't be looking to own a WRX or STI if I lived in Florida or Texas or a place like Southern California either. |

Anyone here much about this new crossover XV?
Make a sport trim (with turbo, because if it has a turbo it must be fast, and fast is fun... derp) in manual and I would possibly be sold on it. Last edited by AKHawkeye; 12-01-2011 at 02:10 AM. |

Oh man i love the look...sleek and sexy.
But, I still love the look on the 11/12 WRX/STI, and I love the boost from the WRX/STI more. Oh and I love the AWD, can't forget that one =D. MY PERSONAL OPINION: The BRZ is one of those things that make you wanna buy it because its new, it looks good, and its different. But in the long run, it'll disappoint in comparison with an STI/WRX because of lack of power and its RWD system. Not saying RWD in a small awesome handling car isn't great, but this is the AKIC chapter right? My opinion would change if 6 months out of the year we weren't slippin and slidin. |

I would get the BRZ in place of a really nice, new bike if I ever felt compelled to have a toy for the summer. I wouldn't use it as my year-round vehicle, as I'm sure most people want. Subaru needs to make a dent in places that don't ever see snow and this car is poised to bring attention to that need. |

G35 Coupe is 3,400 pounds.
350Z is 3,400 pounds. 370Z is 3,200 pounds. BRZ is 2,690 pounds. New Miata is 2,410. Big difference. |

hahaha Nah, I was just trying to make a point. I actually don't even know what "the right size" means or pertains to regarding this particular model.
I like that it's under 2,800lbs, but I weigh 235lbs anyway, so with me in the car it's already thrown over 3k. I'd still get all black everything. |
