Default Accessport Log Help Please

Can anyone take a look at this log and let me know if you think the feedback knock should be of a concern between lines 1250 and 1285. I'm not quite sure what would be causing this.

It is a torqued performance stage 2 plus AEM cold air intake tune and those are the only mods done to the car.

Cobb catted down pipe,
invidia q300 catback
aem cold air intake.

Thank you for the help, I appreciate it. If anyone can see anything else that may be of a concern or need more info I would appreciate it.

You should attempt to turn on logging just before a full throttle run, so its easier to look at the pertinent info. But i skimmed through your log (i am no expert) and saw that you do have some issues:

Some Knocking at upper RPMs while WOT, and FKL already attempting to compensate for it above 4. I think that better gas or a few degrees less timing would fix the situation.

Bill will let you know i bet, but you should try and get a much smaller log with just a 3rd gear full throttle redline pull and maybe some quick light cruising.

I would contact your tuner and send them the log (you do have multiple counts of both feedback and fine knock correction shown during the WOT run). They can go through and make sure you have the correct map for the octane gas you are putting in the car and go from there. As SoCal11Subie said, you want much smaller logs. Try to start and stop the log right before and after the WOT run, for example. I would not do anymore WOT runs until if you get with the tuner.

Here is a shorter log I just took of a 3rd gear pull.

I'm seeing more and more of that knock. Any suggestions?

Based on this log I would stop doing WOT pulls IMMEDIATELY.

This tune appears to be pretty aggressive but there may be a mechanical issue causing the detonation as well. I would strongly recommend switching to an OTS map that is less aggressive -- such as our ACN91 offering for Stage2+AEM -- and scheduling some time with a local ProTUNER ASAP. Your ECU has observed a severe amount of detonation and engine damage is likely if it continues at the same level.

Good luck and best regards

Lance

Default Fine knock

Hey, sorry to invade the thread, but could you take a look at my logs as well?

2011 WRX stock
Cobb Stage 1 93

I have only been stage 1 for a day. These logs are from it being stage 1 for maybe 30 miles.

I see the fine knock in one small pull, and not in the other.

Can you please diagnose me, doc? Ha.

I appreciate it.

Hi CobbTuning,

Here is an updated log with another 3rd gear pull with a different map / tune on it.

Can you comment on the health of this in your opinion with the minor knock being seen?

Thank you.
