Default Would these wheels fit my car?

Guys,

I have a MY98 JDM STI, currently using the OEM 16" wheels...

A friend of mine is selling the following 18" wheels:

Questions:

1-) Would those fit my car (bolt on)?
2-) Are these OEM BBS ones?
3-) They don't seem to have the OEM color, do they? I think they have a darker gold color. What do you think?
4-) How much is a reasonable price?

Thanks in advance for your answer!!

I thought the OEM GDB BBS wheels were 17". I haven't seen the OEMs in 18", but will let others chime in. What is the wheel width? What is the lug pattern? We need a little more info in order to help.

If he's a friend then shouldn't he be able to tell you?

Well, he's a friend but he's currently on a business trip for 3 weeks and wanted to close deal asap....

I don't know anything about these wheels, and probably he either LOL...

So those are not 18", but probably 17"?

you can only put on 04 STi with 5x100.

However, you probably have to roll the fenders to fit them without rubbing. I'm rubbing with 225/50/16 tires on 16x7.5 +48mm offset wheels with a low drop.

Unless they took out the brembos, the car pictured does not look like an STI to me.
If that is the case. The only thing you have to worry about is the wheels not fitting over your 4pot brakes.

You won't really be able to find out until you get the stats on the wheels. They do not look like the OEM BBS that at least came with USDM STI's. These look like Rota tarmac II, Prodrive P1, or something close with BBS center caps in them.

And all those will fit over your brakes, but depending on if/how much the car is lowered, and what size tyre is on the rims now you could get some rubbing.
If they are 18's a GC should have 215/35/18 tyres mounted, while these look like 215/40/18, so slightly higher, which could cause rubbing.

If thet are 17's the WRX fitment is 215/45/17, whereas the GC usually uses 215/40/17.
A higher tyre will also cost a little performance, as the larger circumference lengthens the gearing.
