I have a 2005 STi with a HKS high power cat back. I would like to trade it or sell it, and want something very loud.
PM me, or email at mightymints@gmail.com Thanks Ash

If you want something very loud, look at the SR*S catbacks on eBay. They're inexpensive (send them an offer, I got mine for $200 shipped about 4 years ago), are built decently well, and as long as you keep it out of salt and snow (which shouldn't be a problem in TX) the stainless holds up pretty well. Fittment isn't a problem at all, and tons of people compliment me all the time on how deep and smooth it sounds. Just make sure to get the SR*S brand, and catback section only. If you see a no-name brand with a flex pipe in the midpipe or downpipe, that one is a pile of junk.
Don't knock it until you've tried it. In the quest for a inexpensive exhaust, I went through about 4 brands and settled on this one after a few months of searching. |

Oh man my straight pipe was fun but very very loud, definitely have a back up exhaust if you do the straight pipe because it will get annoying. I'm working on getting a 3" straight pipe axle back that I can just swap in and out when I feel like being louder.

Well, I just picked up a crawford gymkhana, comes friday. Hopefully it will fit on my HKS midpipe!
So as for a straight pipe, whats the difference between that and a midpipe etc? |

I would not go full 3 inch, some people like it (Monty) but I think it's way to loud. This guy is selling one. http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=2270934
