Default PWI-1 pdf (asmeng900) input clarification

From the PWI-1 pdf

Locate Green 20awg wire and tap this to the negative side of any fuel injector. This wire is used to monitor injector pulse width, and is very important to solder this connection. If you are unsure about which wire is the negative injector wire, use factory service manual wiring diagrams. Note: This wire can also hook to a specified input on aftermarket ECU's to allow for full 3D mapping of water injection.

What input does the take? I am getting conflicting answers from aquamist and Perrin. Really want to buy one, but I need to know what I can hook up to it first.

The PWI-1 is not the current system so not sure if you are looking at that instruction sheet or the PWI-2. But if you are getting a PWI-2 system from us, the "Load" pick up wire can be hooked to the injector (pulsed signal) or 0-5V signal. In the control box there is a switch for this depending on how you are using it. We mention that it can be used on a stand alone type ECU where you can add different outputs and make its own mapping for those outputs. But in most situations, this is not needed.

In all situations that have normal injectors (like all Subarus), hook it to the negative side of the injector. This is always the best way to give you the correct amount of Water flow vs. fuel flow.

Hope that helps!

I am referring to the PWI-1, in specific the asmeng900.pdf. I found a good price on one, but in the searching I have done, and talking to a tech person and Richard, I am getting conflicting statements.
