Default Bora's 07 STi Full Race 8374 EFR-Benson Sleeved-Reverse Cosworth Intake-700whp+

Back from the dead, Update Jan 27 2016:

Been awhile since posting here was about to abandon it, had a lot of problems, with myself with surgeries from a car accident so wasn't up for the task which was ahead. In short, finished everything on 12/2014, chased my tail for 6 months, SRP had my car for almost 3 of these months and didn't do a damn thing, was being told this car is un tunable in its current state by both Clark and Travis. Took it To Richard at Dyno comp and he said he won't be able to touch it for 2 weeks. But he had it tuned and ready in 5 days, it was a good time and funny cause he said a lot of tuners don't know what they are doing and he proved his theory. 2 months later lifted a head/gasket failed and was time for new gaskets and some more torque to the heads.

So currently I am in the progress of "remodeling" the engine bay a little changing a few things here and there, it should look great when its done, much better than the current photos, Also, once I put it all back together and installing a Radium Surge tank with a intank 450 and dual Bosch 044 feed pump, OR just going straight to a surge tank fuel cell.

Car made 650whp at 30 psi on E85, before running out of fuel, was tuned down to 28psi and 625whp in the meantime to put some miles on the motor before going bigger HP, Richard said this car can easily make 750 whp+ with a bigger fuel system.

Parts to be added: ALso doing a slight wire tuck/ hose tuck, trying to make the engine bay as clean as possible.
Je Proseal 1.2mm head gaskets (heads torqued to 140 lbs)
Custom Power steering tank/cooler made by me. ( chase bay tank)
Chase bay Coolant tank
Clear timing covers
Gold cam gears
Fluidampr crank Pulley
Beatrush Motor and Tranny mounts
DEFi Oil temp gauge
Hoosier Drag Radials on Gunmetal sti stock rims. My Spare wheel set.
IZIX Concept SClutch ( this thing is awesome!!!)

Parts added later:
Stoptech trophy s60 Front brake kit for ( thanks to my cousin which is ceo of operations at stoptech for getting me these for stupid cheap.
Chase bay Brake booster Eliminator
Rear adjustable Lateral Links
Fortune Auto Coilovers ( possibly new air ride coilovers)
Frame body braces
Roll cage

Also big Thanks to Goodspeed Performance / Clark Turner, and Travis Cooke at SRP for wasting my time and money. Dynocomp or go home.

Update: after many hours of adjusting and checking clearance from the manifold and charge pipe touching the hood, I have finally finished all my clearance issues with Rotating the cosworth manifold. It was a pain in the ass, but finally figured it out with alot of cutting and grinding and some fat spacers.

Will update with some new pictures tomorrow.

Where are the oil leaks? And dust/grime?? This thing is way too clean!

Really though, great looking build! I really like the black and green combo, and that it still on the gold bbs wheels. Unless you really want a wider wheel, there ain't much better than that for the money!

Looking forward to seeing more updates!

Wow, I was just about to start posting up my build but people might think that I copied you hahaha. But really my build is almost identical to yours. I was even building it around the same time frame AND I built the shortblock in the living room of my girlfriends apartment similar to you hahaha. How did this build go? I have been at sea so havent finished everything for my build yet and actually might have some questions for you. I have to finish putting the turbo and plumbing together. How far along are you on this project?
