Default RallySport Direct's 2015 WRX Build

So now that I have a few miles on this car I felt like I could chime in again with a bit of a written update. First of all, what is the goal with this car? Well I would like to call it a fun street car, yeah I like that, let's go with that haha. We have taken the car to the track a few times and I feel like the car still needs more power, much better braking and more track oriented suspension overall, but I also don't want the car to be uncomfortable, it's one of our few shop cars we can still daily drive with zero complaints. Either way, we want to make sure this car can go quicker, stop better and handle better. So that is where we are at now. Join us as we make this car a bit faster and better overall.

Well, almost 400 miles on the WRX and the more I drive it the more I like it. The shifter was a bit weird for me at first, but this is becoming one of my favorite shifters. I'm not going to say it is as direct as my BRZ or as "manly" as my STi, but for a daily driver it gives almost the perfect feel and sound. I'm really impressed a cable shifter can feel this good lol. Still having a hard time finding the "perfect" seating position, but with a few adjustments I am more impressed with the seats compared to the first few days. Really itching for break in to be complete so I can take this thing to redline .

Thanks!
Rick

You guys should do a test to see if the new steering racks fit into the previous generation models, that would be fantastic. Really looking forward to see what you guys do with the new wrx and sti builds. I plan on picking up a new sti in a year or so as a daily.

No info at all on it. This is a BRAND new motor, and in this car has only been out for about 2 weeks now. There is not enough information out yet to show the limit or potential of this motor yet.

Absolutely. There is some good info there. I am loving the low end torque I am seeing on the WRX.

What were you wanting to know? We have had it up on our lift and the rack is a bit difficult to see as it is tight in that area but I would be happy to answer any questions you have

Went for a nice long drive the other night, and honestly the more I drive this car the more I like it. It's quiet, comfortable, and when you want to have a bit of fun, it definitely has that too.

Thanks,
Rick

I saw one of you in the BRZ white with blurple wheels at last years rally into spring at mark miller with curly hair in SLC lol, best looking BRZ Ive seen...been waiting on this WRX for a while. A bit disappointed at first with the design as I thought it would be more in line with the concept and with increased HP as I was hoping for at least 300HP stock as I used to have a 370z, However it has since grown on me and I now want one with the semi upgraded interior, handling and AWD that you need in Utah - interested to see where you can take this! Subd!
