I guess we could post more of the warm and fuzzy images of how pretty our car is but.... How about we break out the real photos/videos of what its like to competitively race, push boundaries, and attempt to stay in front of your competitors?

This is what its like to win an event, set a track record, and still have a bad day.

Just in case the image wasn't enough, here is the video for you. Be sure to turn up the volume, lots of fun noises

I know compressor surge is bad for the turbo, but I do love the sound of it.

What ended up letting go in the motor? Bottom-end or did it drop a valve?

Need a flat bottom. It holds all the oil when the motor blows. Don't ask how we know.

Nah, no thanks...our car isn't baller like that, nor is it at the level of needing one yet. We like the no flat bottom, no rear diffuser aka parachute, and no pressure reliefs in fenders/wheel wells

What is that odd noise that the GC8 above is making when it goes into boost?

Sounds like a machine gun.

I have yet to see a quality turbo let go from compressor surge (is it ideal, no).

I don't want to clutter this thread with that other stuff but we keep a journal of our car and all that info can be found in the members journal section: LIC Motorsports Time Attack STi
