Does anyone else really want to take one of these new exits... You know, a few minutes on a recently paved, deserted highway...?

No tolls collected until Dec 4th; I'd be so down to taking the ICC. My wife is going to try it out tomorrow morning. I hope to get a taste later in the evening.

omg I <3 fresh highway. Loved it when 495 was freshly repaved and I'm loving it down in Newport News where 664 is getting the repavement treatment.

I've been using it between 97 and Shady Grove when I run over to the dump...

It connects to NH Ave. just north of my house, should save A LOT of time. I'll definitely be using it.

I'm hoping that taking the ICC will help with the sometimes baffling traffic congestion on I-95S getting onto I-495W in the evenings and during the daytime hours on weekends.

The weekend traffic during the day really puzzles me. Is it the sunlight?

^^ bummer... I could say: "but they can't catch us all!" but I only wanted the road if I could have it all to myself. Also, I only wanted if there were no tolls - which I understand there aren't (at least in some sections) for a short time.

Tolls are easy pass or they have cameras mounted about 30 feet in the air to get your plates. No toll booth.

Took the ICC last night for the first time. It was pretty eerie only seeing a handful of cars on the road at like 9pm. But I loved how the road felt. The 55mph speed limit was just so tempting to break...

I will likely take it only when I need to cut over to I95 and then head south to the Beltway to the Greenbelt Metro (ie., on weeknights when there's a Caps game I'm going to). I took it last night, and that was part of the reason it took me 90 minutes (vs. 50) to get home -- traffic on I95 northbound was hideous, between the rain and the pre-holiday traffic.
