Default JDM sti ver8-9 on 05 wrx

Hi Nasioc people

I been around the subaru world for like 3 years and just recently picked up an 05 wrx. Love it to death already. well just so happened my father was out doing an errand yesterday and guy randomly decided to stop in the middle of street while merging on to a on-ramp and my father rearended him. So I been slowly looking at all the places to piece together this back together, it just so happens that my 05 wrx wagon came with spare sedan fenders. So i will probably putting those on.

also previous owner said he replaced front bumper with sedan and a sti hood cause he tapped a truck with a ball hitch once.

SOOOOO....I got a few questions for repair.

1. is the sti hood aluminium? is wrx steel?

2. will a front clip from a jdm sti be pretty compatible?

3. wrx and sti radiator the same?

4.any other coolers or wiring issues on the JDM sti clip i would have to deal with?

I ask this because of sites that sell front clips. almost looks cheaper. like this ad
http://www.ebay.com/itm/JDM-Subaru-W...sories&vxp=mtr

will i have any problems with my shop having to lets say "hook up or assemble" that front to my wrx. I havent see it in the daylight but i believe the core support damaged alittle. all front passenger damage. and rad leaking. So im think would that just be easier for me and my shop. rather than just trying to straighten parts and order all this small misc. parts.

Thanks so much for any help
Sean

P.S. I feel bad for my father. He loves this Subaru. almost as much as me. he wants an outback. lol.

1. Both aluminum.

2. yes.

3. Depends on year. Aftermarket would be better than either.... .... but yes.
4. If it's just the facia... wiring is the same.

It's hard to answer some of these questioons since the 06 wrx is basically an STI. The 05 has soo man common parts.

Thanks for help. Anyone else got any input? Maybe experience. And what about the headlights on the jdm should they be plug and play or will I need to do some crafty wiring?
