1.1.2012 New Year Update

Unfortunately due to multiple and constant increases in our enclosures raw costs over the years from our fiberglass contractor we will no longer be able to offer Nasioc members any additional discounts below our websites sales prices. The current “nasioc” discount of 15% off sale prices will be valid until 1.14.12, we’ve had a busy last few weeks and with our Subaru models being the most popular most models are on back order currently. Orders will be filled in the order they were received, if back ordered we’ll try to keep you updated as frequently as possible as to an estimated eta on your model being completed.

We’d like to remain vendors on here as long as it continues to make sense and if we’re able to get the costs back down we’d like to offer some sort of discount again to forum members in the future. A huge thanks to everybody that has helped support our small business, products and services over the years. Not the greatest news to start the New Year with but hopefully this isn’t a permanent situation, please let us know if you have any questions what so ever.

Our subwoofer enclosures are designed to take up as little space as possible in the trunk/cargo area of your Subaru, formed to fit your trunks interior perfectly. Fiberglass construction provides an extremely strong and quality enclosure at a very low weight. Depending on the model weights are between 9 - 16 lbs.

Manufactured here in the US and held to an extremely high quality standard each enclosure comes with -

• High quality terminal cup with the ability to accept up to 8 gauge speaker wire

• 3 to 4 feet of 12 gauge speaker wire for inside the enclosure

How easy is the enclosure removed? My car is an 04 STI RHD JDM so the jack enclosure is on the left. The enclosure could not be placed on the right because the enclosure for the intercooler water spray is there. Really love the look of these enclosures.

Don't you have your intercooler sprayer tank on the passenger side? This is the main reason we didn't do anything on the passenger side. We make a 12 inch version for the passenger side but to be quite honest with ya it hasn't been worth the time, money and work that went into it to produce the original and the molds to reproduce them.

There's a lot of work that goes into each model and there has to be a fair amount of interest to justify the investment on our end.

Your trunk area should be the same as the US version, all the jacks are located on the left side behind the interior panel. All but one of our enclosures fit on the left (US driver's) side of the trunk and cover up the jack access door. We recommend you relocate your jack down with your spare tire, opening it up a bit and wrapping it in a towel gets it down and out of the way on top of the tire. We've also heard of a couple customers making a little "J" bolt mount for it through the spare tire wheel.

The enclosure mounts with one bolt from inside the enclosure. A bolt/washer/rubber washer/nut combo keeps it mounted securely through all sorts of driving.

To remove the enclosure you would have to pull your subwoofer out and access the bolt from the inside. A couple customers have used a threaded insert in the enclosure and bolted it down from underneath the car, but after doing it a couple times I think they've all came to the conclusion it would be just as easy and fast to do it the standard way and just pull the sub.

PLEASEEEEEE PLEASEEE PLEASEEEE make a box for the 09 wrx hatch that fits a 12 inch square Kicker L7 solo baric sub..and we will be in business!!!

^^^ Unfortunatley the major problem with the new 08's is the overall lack of space. There really isn't enough room vertically to fit a 12 inch sub so it would have to be positioned at an angle, which is going to make it's footprint cover more of the floor and getting to spare nearly if not impossible.

The other issue is having an enclosue that only works with one particular subwoofer. Even though it may be a popular sub we drastically limit our potential customers. The original and molds take a lot of work and money to build and there needs to be a large demand to unfortunately justify the costs.

I was wondering if you happen to sell the fabric that you use to wrap your subs in to match the traunk carpet? If not you happen to know where I can get some?

I currently have a sub in the back of my car on the right passenger side that I made personally "no water sprayer tank" and I have it wrapped in a grey, nonstretchy, fabric that isn't hold out too well.

Btw you subs look amazing and to let everyone know the time and cost of materials in building one of these, from my own personal experience, is right on par with their prices!

Sorry but we don't have any pre - 02 Subaru models... I know we suck. We try to keep track of the interest in different models, especially the Subaru's but unfortunately we haven't had a lot of request for the GC chassis.

We don't make any spare tire enclosures, there was a guy on here doing it for a while, not sure if he's around though anymore.

We also don't make any 8 inch models...to be honest with ya I'm not a very big fan of 8's in general unless you absolutely have no space to work with. Although you can get more volume from larger models I generally consider stepping up to a 10 or even a 12 because you'll be be able to play a lot lower and today's 12's have the ability to still play that snappy tight bass 8's and 10 are know for. Now this is with a good subwoofer, amp and proper built enclosure.

Here's the foot print for our 12 and 10 inch models drawn on the cargo mat. Most of the airspace is taken up in the upper part of the enclosure along the side of the trunk wall so there's a minimum amount of floor space lost.

Also the cost to get into a 10 or even 12 is pretty minimal and in my opinion the sound quality and output gained is completely worth it. Now the main reason we don't make any 8 inch enclosures isn't because I'm not a fan of em....it's because in general many people don't run em and if they do it's usually in pairs. Basically there just isn't a huge market for a 8 inch molded fiberglass enclosure.

The 8W7 actually takes more airspace than most 10 inch subs I'd have to look at the specs a bit closer but we may be able to modify one of our 10 inch models to work with the 8W7 if that's an option you're interested in exploring at all.
