3 pulls on 2011 wrx hatchback with big yakima skybox 16 on roof. 42 degrees, full tank of 92 octane gas--Eth free--running Cobb AP 91 OTS 91. Other than flash car is 100% stock. My bias is for a safe map for my beloved dd wrx. Below are pulls in 3rd gear from about 2500 to 6500 rpm.
Thanks much! https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/...DRzVlhNWG4xTGc https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/...0pmRUxFa05MckE https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/...DRmYUl2Q1lSekE

Bill, are you aware of any books that go through the meaning of many of the parameters on the ecu that also explain where these readings manifest themselves in the car? It would have to be pretty basic as I am learning about the ecu measurements as well as what various parts of the car do. I currently google everything. I had to google a/f ratio. Makes complete sense now, as does the ideal stoich ratio of 14.7 and why that can be really good for fuel economy, but very bad for the engine. Etc, etc... Is there an idiot's guide out there? It's interesting stuff to me.

http://www.accessecu.com/support/doc...ns%20Guide.pdf With the AP v2, you can also request a free copy of the AccessTUNER Race (ATR) software. This will allow you to view (and tune) the engine control unit's (ECU's) tables. There is a help document in the software that gives a brief description of every table supported. Request ATR here: http://accessecu.com/register/cobb.php There is an ATR tuning guide that may help you understand some of the ECU logic: http://www.cobbforums.com/forums/sho...et-for-Subarus If you want to start with some of the fundamentals, I would look at the following book (not an endorsement by Cobb, just my personal recommendation): How to Tune and Modify Engine Management Systems by Jeff Hartman Keep in mind that each engine management solution, whether that is the factory Subaru ECU or whatever, is going to have its own quirks. This is great. Downloaded the Cobb material and may order the book as well. At this point I am not interested in messing with the Cobb maps or my ecu at all. I am interested in understanding what/how Cobb tuners do to improve performance and some of the mechanics and science involved.

Rabid,
I am past 1000 miles and having a love affair with the car and the stage 1 map. It completely smoothed out the powerband and the turbo spools in at lower rpms. The map is really fun for me as I get more of the turbo thrill at lower speeds. I am for the most part one who drives close to the speed limit so getting turbo kick down low is great and the stock 3500 turbo lurch is gone. I did 3 third gear pulls and the power and acceleration is very impressive. I have also put a universal cell phone holder on the bottom left corner of the windshield to do live ap monitoring. I monitored boost, mpg, and a/f 1. The cord wraps around the column and is out of site/mind with or without the AP hooked up. I am also really impressed with the Cobb support. You can post datalogs and questions on line and get almost immediate answers from folks at Cobb. That right there is worth the $595 AP cost to me In summary Love the car 91 Octane OTS stage 1 map is great for me Cobb support is outstanding Best 595 I have ever spent Motivated me to learn more about cars and performance indicators which is fun Eric |

Target boost is 14.5 +\- 0.8. I did not log bp for my runs. I'll see if I can find out what the reading was in Hood River when I did the runs. Not sure what units they will be in.
