Default Half debadged '11 WRX Sedan

I was planning on getting rid of them all but stopped half way. Kinda like the way it looks with only the AWD and WRX badges. Opinions?

I wanted to do the same exact thing, ended up taking off the AWD badge because they didn't line up and I thought it would look odd. Here's how mine turned out.

personally i would debadge it all. i like a clean looking ride with no badges and i think only having the WRX in that spot looks kinda off.

but at the end of the day it is your car and the only thing that matters is what you think of it. so if you think it looks good that way then thats all that matters.

I left it on my STI. I think that's how it should've come from the factory. It's the JDM way I believe.

Today, given the unseasonably warm weather and the clear 5-day forecast, I gave a wash and debadged mine the same as yours. Now it's official:

Do these models have the holes under the Subaru badge like the 06-07s?

Goodbye ugly letters!!

Took off the stupid (no offense to those who like it on there) "WRX" lettering on the front grill as well. Still contemplating a solution for the "wrx" font fender silver strip thing on the sides...

Anything similar for the wrx? I'd hate to put an sti logo on my car.

Debadge the whole thing. I think it looks much more clean rather than leaving the free-floating wrx badge.

Thanks for the tip! However I (unfortunately) do not own an STI, and am no poser , so this was my solution:

Sorry the car is very dirty and it just started raining, any imperfections are just dirt/water.

Is that vinyl wrap? It looks good on a DGM. Just not sure how it'd stand out on an OBP.

You could always go for real CF Vaneer! http://dragonplate.com/ecart/categories.asp?cID=12

I actually did a shifter shroud in this stuff back in the day on my Integra. Very easy to work with and very nice outcome. Comes in a matte and gloss finish.

Not sure but they may come in different colors too.

It couldn't possibly stand out more than the brushed aluminum look it already has.

Yea it's 3M 1080 vinyl Carbon wrap. Easy to work with and looks exactly like CF. 25 dollars for a 6x1 ft roll. I also wrapped that silver rear trunk trim in it. My license plate frame is real CF, and when looking at both I cannot tell a difference. Given that the SPT carbon trunk trim is 80-90 dollars for a purely cosmetic piece, this was a no brainer for me. It looks nice imo on a DGM car.

That cf wrap looks excellent man. I can't imagine that looking bad on any color. Nice job.

I have a DGM '11 sedan and I removed the silver fender badges and sprayed them with a couple of coats of black plasti-dip rubberized paint. I don't have any pics but it looks really clean on the dark colored car.

I really like the carbon vinyl wrap look though too!

I'm a fan of all, none, or just the WRX.

I went with none but kept the Subaru emblem, thinking it would be too bare not seeing anything on there.

The plans for the emblem will be to darken the chrome ring around the outside of it.

I also debadged everything, however, if I had a 2011+, I would keep the AWD badge. Tow truck drivers may be clueless. The older models all had the AWD thing on the back windshield.
