Default Lynnes Subaru Service Dept.

Not sure if this is the right area to post this, but has anyone else had problems with them? When i picked up my car it had a nail in the tire, no big deal, they ordered a new tire (Said it would be there in 2 days, took 1.5 weeks). Finally got the car in and replaced the tire, then had to bring the car back 2 days later cuase of the tire pressure light was on.

Everything was fixed and i was washing my car and noticed this!!!

Scratches around ever single lug nut on the tire that was replaced. The service dept. said it happens to every rim when they use the tool to remove the tire.... I said then why use the tool if it will scratch up a rim every time it is used! She called her manager and they are refinishing the wheel in a week!

My question is, what is the best service dept in north NJ for my baby!??

I can tell you it's not Paul Miller Subaru. I'm still pissed that they won't honor the free oil changes I had with the old (Loman Subaru) dealer. So I go to Wayne Subaru, pretty happy with them.

Maybe they're different now, but when they did my STi engine swap, they screwed it up. Apparently their best tech didn't notice the pinched coolant line on my new motor... Oh, and they charged me for a case of oil, instead of 5 qts, after the $$$ spent not too much ~$75 to pay me to tell everyone I run into about my experience there. I wish you the best of luck, like I said, maybe they're different now. I now drive an hour and a half to Rob at Automaster of Westchester for any major work I can't do myself, straight answers, and great work.

atleast they manned up and will take care of it for you. Sometimes it better to just take things as they come.. it really doesnt seem like that big of a deal, im sure it looks worse because of the flash. Now your dealer knows you as the pain in the ass... hope you dont mod your car or miss a service interval.. im sure they cant wait till you have a problem.

Screw that, I live 20 minutes from Precision Tuning and I've been annoying Rich for almost 7 years now . I won't let stealerships touch any car I buy unless it's expensive warranty stuff I don't want to pay for.

Actually, they never "manned up". They acknowledged their mistake with the oil, and never refunded any of my overpayment. They said the coolant line was kinked because of the fpgreen, and fitment issues.(the turbo is nowhere near the coolant resevoire, and fit fine before they dropped the motor out)

Why go to a stealership at all. Better prices and better service with one our highly qualified vendors, AZP and Broken Motorsports. Both in NNJ too.

That's interesting, I purchased my wrx in Sept 2011...and the SAME EXACT thing happened to me. They had nails in one tire? So they swapped out the tire (causing TPMS troubles because their techs were so lazy or unthoughtful that they didn't reprogram it) and destroyed the wheel with that tool they use. I didn't notice until I got home (over 1 hour away). I haven't brought it back because I figured they would just deny deny....Should have brought it back..Lack of attention to detail here. AVOID.
