WTB: (Want to Buy) feeler: Jeep TJ 4.0 donor motor & trans

ok so it has come time for a new engine for my jeep, i am having major valve tap out of my 2.5L and the rear main seal has begun to leak. Rather than rebuild the 2.5L I am looking for a 4.0L with trans and possibly ECU/wiring to swap in.

if anyone has any sources or knows anyone that might be parting out a jeep or happens to have an engine laying around, let me know.

of course, the cheaper the better, and I will thoroughly be going through the block and heads before I swap anything into my jeep so gaskets, seals, misc small parts aren't too huge of an issue.

I am in south east Houston

i have a HO 4.0. if you still need it let me know asap, i have a flaky buyer and thursday it's going to scrap if no one wants it. im asking $100

i have an ecu for a 91-95 4.0 H.O. here if you want it. I also have a transfer case from a 4.0 that you will need because yours will be 21 spline input instead of the 23 spline for the ax15 trans you will need. I'm in dallas p.m. me if your interested.

lol marshal, 4bt is too smokey. i'm not crazy into diesel

and about the above 4.0, i am really looking to keep it OBD2 that way it can pass an inspection, if it was roughly in my year range (2000) or at least obd2 (because at least i'm pretty sure you are referring to the early YJ/XJ 4.0) then i would be all over it

the 4.0 i have is out of a 92 XJ. said to have 80K since it was rebuild and was running when plucked. its currently loaded up in my dad's truck so if no one wants it by the end of the week i unfortunately have to scrap it. make me an offer. i'd much rather it go to use then to the scrap yard. i just am getting out of the jeep scene, after 7 jeeps and countless annoyed days and nights of my jeep not working im rather tired of them.
