yea, they're very light. Easy to carry two at a time, with tires. But the real advantage is in unsprung weight and rotating mass. Icing on the cake when they were on the turbo. But the difference on an NA car was more tangible, especially my old ej22. I was getting ready to buy a set of 17" rims at the time, but the more I thought about it, the more I preferred the weight savings. Plus I live in the city, an environment in which I believe a very good 55 series summer tire performs as well as a 45, but with more comfort for everyday liveablilty.
