Guess you'll have to settle for Instagram pics like Lewie!

That's seems kinda weird though. I wonder what prompted that - are they trying to cut down on photographers, or do they think contraband could be hidden in the lenses.

I have to say, one of the craziest parts of going to Monaco was how they treated fans attending the event. Going into the general admission area they didn't ask to check my bag. I didn't need to empty my pockets or get pat down, there wasn't any restrictions on what we could bring on to the rocks that I was aware of and the person tearing our tickets was polite and made an effort to not damage them. I was foolishly hoping that it would be the same here. I suppose I should just hope the TSA doesn't send a VIPER team to check everyone boarding the shuttle busses.

No one will be tearing your ticket in America. They'll just scan the barcode.

These barbarians in Monaco actually ripped your ticket???

Like previously mentioned, being the team that designs and builds the engines for their customers is obviously an advantage in terms of data gathered through development and what not. Another distinct advantage comes into play in regards to chassis/suspension/gearbox development. If you know the exact dimensions, weight, etc. about the motor before anyone else, you should have a pretty big head start on developing the car around the motor especially with the aero changes due for 2014 as well. Hamilton and Mercedes might be at a bit of a disadvantage next year, but 2014 should be a different ball game all together.

The drivers were the problem at Merc.

I had to check but that's a good call. I think the 100-400 is going to be easier to get through the gate and is a little more flexible. If it is cloudy I'll be wishing I had the 2.8 though.

In this situation, McLaren will no longer be supplied Merc engines at no cost - they will now have to pay for them. Less money for twittering wannabe rap artists.
Well yeah, not as in merc will get a better engine, but they'll see them first and have a better opportunity to design around them and whatnot

I could see how that could be beneficial, but it could also be a hindrance, in that McLaren will be able to focus on building a better chassis, while Merc is trying to build a chassis AND develop the engine. Hasn't worked that great for them so far, but who knows what 2014 will bring. It certainly is their best shot to pull of something like Brawn did in '09... maybe.

I agree totally, they were 4th last season and said they'd challenge for top 3 this year, they're now struggling to hold onto 4th against lotus and I can only imagine that next year will be similar. I don't see Lewis doing that much. If nico and schumi could manage one win in two or three years why should Hamilton?

I think they're going with the idea that he's a significantly better driver than one of them, and not an old man like the other. I do expect him to be getting beaten by both McLarens next year, and that will eat at him. Until he thinks of his bank account.

Just ordered a xbox wireless forcefeed back wheel off amazon for a hundred bucks! Finally got sick of the controller not controlling the car the way it should be. Its nice to finally shelve Forza 4 for awhile.

***just realized this isn't for the videogame, wow too hungover to forum right now.
