You mean when Raikkonen happened upon a corner where some useless fake German was diddly about on the racing line a lap down?

The reason he didn't beat the Ferrari that day is because he didn't try to. He was on Raikkonen's ass the entire day.

So he was both teams #1 driver ahead of two World champions?! Well you are entitled to your opinion.

Pretty much. JV fell off a cliff performance wise during his time @ BAR, and Kimi was content with bagging FLs for some reason.

Side note: I always liked the old Sauber livery.

Amazing how differently all of this would be analyzed if Hamilton didn't pass Glock on the last lap in Brazil in 2008.

Or if Alonso went to Ferrari in '07 instead of '10. BTW, that would have been such a flimsy title anyway. Probably the worst since Keke Rosberg's in 82?

Why so "flimsy"? Is Hamilton's title tarnished since he only won 5 races to Massa's 6*?

*thanks to the Spa stewards

It's flimsy because Hamilton was far and away on better form that year. Felipe had something like 2 gift wins, and should have gotten much worse punishment in Japan.

I think JV's title run in the Williams was about as flimsy as it gets.

The BAR was always a dog, (first race rear wing anyone?) they might of done better if they would of listened more to JV? but we will never know?
The sauber was a sweet looking car, but f<€king hats were WAY to NASCAR!

That was their problem. He and his idiot manager were running the show. It's no coincidence that they got better once those two left.

Those Williams cars made average drivers (JV, Mansell, DH) into World Champs.

Just sayin'

Sure if you consider 2nd place in his rookie year, ONLY to win in his second flimsy sure! Whatever floats your boat!

Two words: Damon. Hill.

Those cars he had at Williams his first two years were excellent. Anyone could drive those cars to Championship ( and basically did).

Yeah, I hate that when people try to start new things AND try to run them.

So you consider Fisi (in 2009) and Badoer to be A players, on par with the other top team drivers? Before you get all huffy reread my post that you took issue with: Ferrari didn't replace Massa with a top tier driver.
