Default need info on turboxs

i havent done any mods to my car yet but am interested in a stage 2 kit from turbo xs. Does anyone have these mods done to theres and if so are the dyno numbers legit. I live in vegas and am worried about the heat being a factor. What kind of quarter mile times can i expect? Also, will the check engine light come on because of the removal of the cats? Thanks for the info

I live in hot and humid Maryland. Can't answer about how fast you will go or if anybody has a dyno which has any "absolute" validity at all, but...

I have had Stg 1, no CELs, upgraded to Stg 2, no CEL, upgraded to TXS TMIC, still no CELs. There are two cats in my system. If you get the "test pipe" for racing you then have only one cat in the uppipe. You will probably get a CEL, and can do a resistor fix. You can also get the TXS catless uppipe, so you can run without any cats. Then you can put black tape over the CEL light, and wear a respirator, and shoot flames out the exhaust pipe.

My WRX is fast in non-racing sense. Yesterday I was stopped at a traffic light with a Mustang on my right. I didn't know he intended to cut in front of me because the road goes to one lane down from this light. But when he made his intention clear, I pulled out crisply when he was about a car length ahead, and he fell behind about a car lenght and finally had to concede by getting behind me before his lane ended. My setup pulls quickly and strongly and the short shifter helps too. Not much drama, but quick.

If you are really into the 1/4 you probably should go for stg 4 with the uppipe and the big IC. All I want is drivability with twice the effectiveness of my very drivable and torquey Z car.

I ran 13.3 @ 100 mph with the Stage 2 setup with their high performance boost controller. You will get much better performance using their boost controller instead of the abc bleeder valve setup that come with the stage 2 setup.

On average, I ran 13.3s - 13.7s with the stage 2 Setup. If your a good driver (1.80, 60' times) and use their hpmbc ( $129) you should expect similar times.

Theres a kid at new england dragway running mid 14's with stage 2

I'm not a big fan of the "Stage #2, Stage #3" stuff... it all cracks me up
