Connected test cables while engine on
Now the car won't start. Turns over but doesn't start. AP not connecting to ecu. Help.

I believe your car will not start when in test mode, or if the white plug is plugged in too.

Everything is unplugged? Hm thats odd. Did you interrupt the map download somehow?

No I just had ap connected to the car with the car engine run ign. Then I accidentally connected up the test cables with engine still on and it shut off. Now AP is not reading ecu and the car doesn't start. When I connect test cables again, chec engine doesn't flash like it should.

Unplug the battery and sit on the brakes, plug it back in and try again

Tried that tool nothing. I unplugged id the brake and left it now for 30 min disconnected. Nothing.
