Question HTML now turned off. Why?

Just wondering... The only reason I can think of is some people's abuse of the scrolling marquee. And turning off all HTML seems a little drastic just to fix that.

I think the reason why is because it was possible to get script executed (I won't tell you how).

Yea that script thing is dangerous.

I always thought of writing a bbs virus,
one that floods the board with double posts.

It would be really easy, you should definatly turn scripting off when using IE.

Funny, I've never been bothered by one though. Guess Netscape does rule over IE sometimes.

Turn javascript off and forget about annoying pop-ups!

It was from the Fugitive.

Old series. Movie remake with Harrison Fjord and Tommy Lee Jones. Also a new series on CBS or NBC.
