Hi all,
I thought I'd post over here about this because our new wheel has some of the properties track guys like, including: - 17x9" size (+42 offset) -- nice and wide for stuffing some big rubber on - Light weight at 17.8 pounds - Flow-formed construction for high strength - Dual-drilled so they'll fit that crazy hybrid car you built with 5x114 hubs on the front and 5x100 on the back. ![]() - Subaru centerbore size, so no annoying hub rings needed ![]() The wheel is called the Awesome. Okay, sales pitch over. P.S. Hi, Paisan! Delete this post if you consider this too much advertising and not enough news-worthy... ![]() --Dan Mach V FastWRX.com

These are not nearly wide enough.
Good looking wheels though. |

I know this thread is just over a year old, but I wanted to follow up. We did indeed a make 18x9.5" of this wheel, and it's just 19.0 pounds. Single-drilled, to reduce weight at the hub, but available in either bolt pattern.

We put a similar wheel (18x9.5 +40) on this car with 255/35R18. ![]() We had to roll and shave the rear fenders a lot, roll the fronts, and then run some extra ride height in back to keep it from rubbing. Inner clearance is okay, though. --Dan Mach V |

![]() ![]() ![]() We only have them in 17x9 at this time. We're considering a 17x7.5" fitment for the BRZ/FR-S people. It'd be very light. Not sure if it could fit over Brembos. Working on it. --Dan Mach V FastWRX.com |

It's hard to shoehorn 315s on a 9" wheel.

Dan:
Could you print out the templates for Stoptech, and maybe Brembo for their 6-pot brake caliper and see if these will fit under the 18x9.5 and then report back to us? This is the motor sports thread afterall ![]() I am running 17x10, 114.3, RPF1 and they fit without a spacer, but a 6-pot won't fit under there. |

Actually Greg, I'd love a set of 18x11 +22 in 5x114.3. The only ones I've found that are reasonable and light are the Forgestar F14's. If someone wanted to make one that was around 20 lbs though, I'd be down (assuming less than Volk prices).
