I'm getting a huge run around from the idiot service manager who refuses to call me back.
A month or so ago my bbs wheels got all gouged to hell and they sent the rims out to get refinished. Now it looks like someone went and painted them gray and they look like total shyte. The keep telling me that they will call me back and never do. I'm ready to go down there and cause a scene in front of all the people waiting there. So I was just wondering if anyone worked there that knows if they heard anything about this or if there is someone there I should talk to instead of wasting my time with Dave. Josh

Hey Josh I was up there the other day and Dave was checking out my wheels,I guess we have the same ones. Anyways,he said that you had scratched yours up so they sent them out to a place near Boston,(Newton or Cambridge maybe) and had them refinished. He said that they looked pretty close to mine just not quite as shiny. Maybe you should get the number of that place and deal directly with them, might get you more satisfaction, good luck,CHRIS.....

Well, THEY scratched my wheels up with the airgun. No just scratched but there was pieces of aluminum hanging off the wheel! The wheels were sent out to the refinishing place where I talked to the guy afterward. He said that they told Tri-state that it was not a 100% match on the wheel color and Tri-state never informed me of that and had the wheel guys go ahead and work on it anyway. I've called Dave 4 times and he tells me they will order a wheel to compare it too and that he'll call back in a day or two. That was a month ago. Dave also said that the wheels would get scratched up anyway, and I said NO THEY WON'T. So someone ows me a set of wheels. Mine look like steel painted wheels now.

Yeah Josh,
Go right over their heads. That is total BS. You bought NEW wheels with your car, they ruined them, and they owe you another NEW set, not a refinished set. Keep us updated and let us know the final outcome. Paul G. |

![]() However the truth is that good ol' Ernie Boch owns Subaru New England, and that SoA really doesnt have much direct influence in this region. Will speaking with SoA really accomplish anything usefull ? I guess its worth a phone call to find out. |

Erin Boch doesn't provide a warranty with the car, SOA does. He is just a car distributor that all the dealer "buy" from. SOA certainly handles all the warranty issues, and service issues. When you ask for a service technician to come out, he/she is sent by SOA, not SONE I think.

The wheels are the BBS RK's,I have the same ones. If it was a Subaru tech that wrecked the wheels then Subaru should repair them to the same condition or replace them,no ifs ands or buts. Definately go to Subaru of America and bitch your head off, tell them how you are not getting any satisfaction from the service department and that they are blowing you off, don't be an ass but let them know you are very upset. Professional and polite will go a long way. I don't know if Subaru is anything like Honda, but when I bitched to them I got results AND they chewed out the dealer big time. Good luck just be persistent,CHRIS....

Josh,
I do helpout in sales at Tri-state on Sundays. When you had first posted another thread about this I spoke with Tim Cushing the general manager at the dealership. He said that he would check into it with Dave. When I saw him again he had told me that they had sent the wheels out to a shop to take care of the scratches that had been made in the holes/shafts where the lugnuts go. I did not know that this was the end result. They are usually very good about stuff there and I know they have ordered a new socket so this won't happen again. I think if you are not happy with Dave or feel you aren't getting anywhere with him you should definetly talk to Tim Cushing the general manager. I know when I spoke to him about this, that he wasn't happy and wanted to make sure that you were satisfied with the results. He knows that someone posting on here about bad service isn't good for anyone. Talk to Tim and if you are still not satisfied then do what you must. Sorry for your bad experience, I know this is not typical for our service department. -Jon |

Hey thanks Jon. If I'm not busy at work I'll call him tomorrow. I don't know why Dave is blowing me off. I haven't been nasty or anything, YET.
What do you do during the rest of the week for work? And I think I talked to you there when I was buying my car from Chris, you have the pink I badge right? Josh |

As for my weekday job, I battle against my arch enemy Dr. Doom along with my 3 friends......................okay I'm not really a superhero, I do outside sales for largest electrical distributor in the US. |
