what i do is set the target boost to 0.25 psi higher than i want the car to run....so say i wanna run 20...set target boost to 20.25, then setup the max wgdc so that you only hit 20. The flat wgdc acts as a boost cap kinda like a mbc. so now you'll run 20psi and the turbo dynamics wont even really matter because you're never hitting target boost...so they dont start pulling wgdc on you and oscillating boost.
Yup, I have tried out some higher td's than stock and my boost curve looked like Michael J Fox's signature. I tend to stick with <= stock td's on oem turbo's.

Hmm ok. My boost is actually not oscillaing. I have rhe stock solenoid. I guess thats why. Gonna see if i can get boost happy with just wg max dc.

Also, feedbaxk knock showed up when i went Online with the ecu. It was pulling a ****load of timing so i sensibly set base timing to 20 at redline. I am on 93oct. Also dropped afr down to 11. Seems rich to me but if thats what subies need then ok.

For more mpg should i just bump my closed loop cruising afr targets to 15.5 and pray to the narrowband gods?

Btw the resolution of the logger is sick. 20hz ftw

There are a bunch of parameters that don't show up unless youre hooked to the car with power on.

I've had an egt gauge on my Wrx since 2003 and one on my Sti since 2006. 11:1 is good both from an egt standpoint and for safety in case u develop a lean leak u may end up at 12:1 where as if your at 11.7 already u will end up at 12.7.

Autos tend to necessitate less timing in the midrange and low rpm high load areas just because of the way they spool and shift. They tend to get more shift knock than manuals.
