Default Retrofitted 2011 headlights for your OEM 2011 headlights plus cash

After about 6 weeks with them in my car, I have decided to do some de-modding of my 2011 WRX. The retrofit is one of the mods that is coming off.

This is the full RetroQuik setup sold by TheRetrofitSource. It has the Morimoto D2S projectors, integrated ballasts (they attach to the bottom of the stock headlight housings using the factory mounts), 4300K bulbs, 35w ballasts, and the wiring harness (although I will discount the price by the $30 price it would cost you to buy a new one if you let me just keep mine in the car).

The kit takes about 4-6 hours to install. By swapping me setups, you save the hassle of the install. This becomes a bolt-in, bolt-on installation with a single wiring harness to add (that part took me 15-20 minutes).

I am asking $330+ your stock headlights (shipped to me) in very good condition. This includes return shipping to you. This is the same price as TRS charges for the kit (not on sale), but you basically get installation for free.

I was originally willing to remove the TRS setup from my car and sell it, but it is not worth my time to remove the headlights, open them up, re-install the OEM parts, and close it all back up. I'd rather just swap whole headlights.

The real value here is that you get the kit already installed. This saves a lot of time and headaches (just ask me how I know).
Pics:

If you are local enough to drive to my house to do the swap, we can even work out something for me to help with the install, plus I will cut the cost a bit since we don't have to ship.

And before someone asks, I CANNOT ship first and wait for your lights to arrive.

By 2011, do you mean any 3rd generation Impreza? I believe they are all the same.

In my case I have an 08 WRX. Zipcode?

25401. I am about 40 minutes from you. 70W to 81S and 13 miles into WV.

And the reason I preferred a 2011 was 2-fold...

1, the blacked out OEM headlights. the 2012 went to all chrome, and I don't know what the non-WRX lights looked like prior to 2011.
2, I wanted to trade for headlights with lenses in approximately the same condition as mine. Makes life easier.

I'll be happy to discuss the possibility of a deal, however.

This sounds like an excellent deal (ONLY if you still have theretrofitsource.com decal). I will be retrofitting my crap lights sometime, but didn't think it would be this soon. What are your thoughts on a pick-up and headlamp swap day with an 09 WRX?

I do still have the decal.

As for the swap, I need to be sure that the condition of your lenses is about the same as what mine is. I have 23,xxx miles on my 2011, so keep the condition of your lenses in mind as we discuss a sale.

If you have pictures of your lenses, email them to patrickhenry at g mail (no dots or spaces in the name) and we can discuss options.

Bumping this. The only change is that I will NOT remove the kit from my headlights.

As the days are now longer and downtime is less of an issue, I can more comfortably move forward with the swap.

I will do my headlights with the retroquik kit installed in exchange for your OEM headlights + $300. I will keep my relay harness and you can order a new one from TRS (it saves a lot of time for me).

I have an '11 sedan w/ 18K miles and I'm interested.
Do you have a ballpark on the cost of the relay harness? Also would you be interested in helping me swap them at your place or mine? (I live near Dulles airport in VA.)

Could do it at my house- I have a garage and already know that I have everything needed to do the swap at my house.

I believe that the relay harness is $30. If you buy it and bring it with you I can do the whole install.

Shoot me a PM and we can discuss particulars.

How much for your used stock headlights? I might be able to sell these faster with them out of the car.

I'll trade you straight up, your stock '08 headlights for my STi springs that you posted about.
