Default Removing Passengers Airbag

Searched this topic and no helpful information came up. Before I start this thread, I don't care what your personal opinion of no airbag is, even though your going to state it anyway. I wanted to know if anyone had any personal experience removing the passengers airbag, because I'm relocating my under hood fuse box to that position.

hit the front passenger side just under the headlight with a bat or sledge hammer. this is the fastest way to remove it.

And anyone that's in the passengers seat, is well aware there is no airbag.

Last I did I removed the whole dash, removed the airbag which comes off attached to the cover, then removed it from the cover.

Since your expecting opinions... here is mine.

WTF?

Are you retarded? removing it puts your passanger's life directly into your hand. If you wreck and they get killed due to no air bag that you removed... I can't even think of all the problems your going to face. Lawsuits for one. If your insurance finds out. You'll be dropped on the spot.

is relocating your fuse box THAT IMPORTANT?

selfish...

anyway off my soap box and back to your regular programming.

Well here's my response to your opinion.

Rarely do I ever have passengers in my car seeing how I only have front seats. The car is mainly driven to work, by myself. If in the instance I do have a passenger, everyone that gets in my car IS KNOWLEDGABLE that there is no airbag.

So yes, for what I have planned for the car, it is worth it.

I do. The passengers airbag is one of the last one's to be removed. Also, all factory seatbelts have been removed, and replaced with 4 point harnesses. There's something else for you to state your opinion about.

Whats the big deal? Every car or truck I owned before 2000 didn't have an airbag, some didn't even have seatbelts. And several have had 4 or 5 point harnesses.

Probably because I took out working safety items. I knew opinions would be voiced, but either way, it's not going to change the plans for my car.

the day i'm ready to die, i'll hit you up for a ride lol jk man, be careful though dude, even though people KNOW you don't have any airbags, they'll still do something about it if they get hurt, they'll want to as soon as they see their medical bills heh.
