Yes went from 5.5.886 --> 5.7.893 and still the same thing.

They are calling for the new update 5.8.894 to be out soon before the ICS rolls out.

I hate my Droid X. The piece of **** always turns itself on, ALL BY ITSELF, when I turn it off at night. Started doing it after Gingerbread release. Wiping it clean and installing NOTHING did not fix the problem.

I know 3 DX owners whose phones do the same thing. We joke that it's because they are work phones and the company wants to be able to contact them at all times. It's annoying as hell.

Mine likes to turn itself off for no reason. Perhaps we should mate them to get new, smaller, working phones.

Woah, they turn themselves on? Never heard of that. You'd think that would definitely be a hardware issue.

I wouldn't know if mine did that, since I leave mine on pretty much 24x7 (I turn it off only on weekends at night for a good charge).

My wife's rooted Droid Pro's WiFi isn't working in our house either. I posted on the Droid Forums where the CM7 mod was developed for the Pro, and this is the answer I got:

The fix potential fix is to delete the file that stores your wifi passwords and stuff. I'd make a backup before you do anything so in case this doesn't fix it, you won't lose your wifi passwords and whatnot. The file is /data/misc/wifi/ wpa_supplicant.conf
Not sure if that would apply to your Bionic or not, but you could try it.

I think I might stroll down to the verizon store tonight after they close and see if the put up any of the Nexus banners or any sort of thing in the store.

No my wifi works fine as well as data after my morning reboot. Then for the rest of the day the phone works fine. It is only at night when this happens I guess. Maybe it is when I go from CDMA to LTE area that the radio gets all stupid.
Going to try to leave it on CDMA only for today and will report back tomorrow.

No trolling here, I called my local Verizon and they told me over the phone that they have 30 in stock and it will be for sale in the morning. This is the first time they have ever not said "we have no idea". Looks like the Wife, Pop, and I will be rolling up to Verizon Thursday.

Best buy says they have no idea, Kiosk on the military base had no idea.

It wouldn't surprise me to see a quiet no fanfare release tomorrow. I'm just surprised I haven't received a call from my VZW buddy about it yet. He must really not want to sell me a Nexus.

Check the Internet before you do.

I'm so glad that I signed up on the VZW Galaxy Nexus page to receive updates about it. To this day the only thing they ever sent me was a reminder that the RAZR was going on sale.

My D2 does the same, but when it turns itself on, it turns the volume to LOUD.
This is very frustrating when I have to turn my phone off during an exam.
